The Volta Chapter of CUA is among the Eleven Chapters in the country. Until recently, the Chapter fell within one region of Ghana: Volta Region. However, as a result of the creation of new regions by Government, the Chapter is now managing two regions: Volta and Oti regions.

There are a total of thirty (30) Credit Unions in the Chapter made up of twenty-six (26) Societies affiliated to CUA and four (4) Study Groups.

Membership of the Credit Union as of 30^th September, 2021 stood 91,881members.  Membership is open to all categories of people who are by the laws of Ghana eligible to transact business. Members of the Credit Unions in the Chapter are mostly Teachers, Farmers, Petty Traders, Market women etc.

With dedications, sound management disciplined and visionary leadership by both Management and Board of Directors of the various Credit Unions in the Chapter, Credit Unions have grown from strength to strength.

The Chapter is led by Mr. Redacord Doh as the Chapter Chairman. The Manager responsible for the Chapter is Mr. Ignatus Agamah.
