The Upper West Chapter of CUA limited happily and lovely welcome you to WA, the home of the first CREDIT UNION in Africa and land of pure agricultural business.
Our goal is to promote vibrant and sustainable Co-operative Credit Unions in the Chapter to reduce poverty and improve the living standard of the rural poor. Eight (8) affiliated and registered Co-operative Credit Unions are in the Chapter and four (4) study groups. Most of the Credit Unions in the Chapter are community base though we equally have faith/parish base as well as workplace Credit Unions.
Some of the Credit Unions continue to record appreciable growth in terms of assets while others are stagnant in terms of growth.
The Chapter is led by a Chapter executive member who is in the person of Mr. Adams Dramani Natomah and managed by Mr. Kenneth Talangmen Abobo as the regional manager
